JOB SUMMARY
Oversee and ensures smooth daily operations of the retail outlet. They support the team, drive sales, maintain excellent customer service standards, and assist in achieving store objectives. This role also includes staff supervision, inventory control, and compliance with company policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Supervision:
- Oversee and guide retail associates to meet performance goals.
- Assist in scheduling shifts and ensuring adequate floor coverage.
- Provide training and mentorship to new and existing staff.
Sales and Customer Service:
- Drive sales through exceptional customer engagement.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Support the implementation of promotional campaigns.
Store Operations:
- Ensure the store meets cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate restocking with the inventory team.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security checks.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Enforce company policies, including safety and loss prevention protocols.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and industry regulations.
Problem Solving:
- Address operational challenges to maintain a positive shopping experience.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the store manager when necessary.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- SPM, Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Previous retail experience (minimum 1–3 years), with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Possess own transportation.
