JOB SUMMARY
- To manage the product category or range and be responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of that product or service.
- To plan and develop strategies for the product categories and exit strategies for unsuccessful products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To increase sales for the category.
- Sourcing products that suitable for market needs.
- To develop strong working relationships with buying, marketing and merchandising teams.
- To develop strategic long term plan for the development of the category.
- To analyze, develop and implement effective promotion programs in line with company strategy.
- To plan and develop strategies for the product categories and exit strategies for unsuccessful products.
- Conduct relevant data analysis on best sellers, product performance and recommend action plan.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Business / Marketing or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of buying experience preferable in F&B or retail industry.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin (optional).
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Result-oriented, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent in using MS Office application, especially Excel.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
