Legal Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Familiar with conveyancing procedure and able to handle documentation on conveyancing for Tenancy Agreements and Sales and Purchase agreements.
  • Assist in preparing and attending to legal documents relating to conveyancing transaction
  • Liaise with tenants, owners, various government authorities, bankers, or agents in relation to real estate transaction.
  • To assist in drafting of letter, including but not limited to finalized renewal letter, appeal letter, demand letter, termination letter and etc.
  • To assist in drafting of agreement for new outlet, new sublet and new hostel.
  • Ensure proper filing of documentation.
  • Provide secretarial assistance and administrative support to the manager for any other legal matters.
  • To follow up on any court case and demand letter.
  • To produce relevant memo for new outlet, renewal, termination rental rebate and etc.
  • To follow up any ad hoc cases.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor Degree in Law.
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years experience as conveyancing clerk in a law firm.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact with people from all levels.
  • Language(s) requirement: English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage. 
  • Strong sense of responsibility and proactive.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Meticulous with high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
