Marketing & Communication (MARCOM) Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist to develop effective marketing strategies tailored to the retail or convenience store. 
  • Marketing support in updating and managing marketing initiatives including promotions, campaigns, social media, website, in-store marketing materials and events.   
  • Organize and plan social media and website promotions to drive traffic to retail stores. 
  • Prepare and plan content copywriting & visuals idea for social media channels, website and other marketing collaterals as required.
  • Support in video shooting and editing for events and promotional reels.  
  • Coordinate and execute in-store promotional activities, new store opening, events. Ensure all marketing materials are delivered timely. 
  • Create awareness in the marketplace, monitor and analyse competitors’ activities and identify consumer trends. 
  • Create high-quality, original content for digital and videos, content which will catch maximum customer interest
  • Measuring and monitoring company website and social media traffic statistics.
  • Maintain consistency in content and ensure alignment with the brand history and plans.
  • Identify customers’ needs in relation to the company and write content to cater those needs
  • Collaborating with the purchasing team for any promotional products.
  • Optimize Search Engine Optimization driven content and increase the site traffic. 
  • Work with designer and external agencies / service vendors / printing suppliers to ensure that all the marketing collateral is on-board. 
  • Networking with influencers and other content creators to expand reach.
  • Work closely with relevant department to ensure seamless execution. 
  • Any other tasks that being assigned by superior or management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 1 – 2 years’ experience in marketing, FMCG or related field 
  • Experienced and have knowledge in digital and social media platforms, e-commerce, advertising & promotions, and marketing campaign

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Experienced in the FMCG industry will be an added advantage
  • Ability of good analytical skills, able to provide ideation and love giving opinions 
  • Able to meet deadlines, good planning skills and meticulous  
  • Proficient in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia both spoken and written
  • Proactive, analytical, team player and responsible person 
  • Flexibility to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed
