Chief Financial Officer

Yap Kit Foong has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2022, providing leadership and strategic direction to the finance, accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable teams. He offers strategic financial recommendations to the CEO and senior management.

He oversees corporate, financial, and accounting functions, including financial planning, budgeting, treasury, tax, and forecasting. He leads feasibility studies and due diligence for investments, acquisitions, and projects, evaluating cost-effectiveness and providing strategic insights on cash flow and profitability. Additionally, he coordinates with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and regulatory bodies.

Before joining KK Supermart, Kit Foong was an auditor at KPMG, managing audits across industries such as healthcare, oil and gas, construction, utilities, food and drink, manufacturing, and trading. He also handled corporate exercises, including acting as reporting accountant for IPO submissions to the Securities Commission.

Kit Foong earned his ACCA qualification in 2006, became a Fellow in 2014, and has been a registered chartered accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 2010.
